Summer Garden Bridal Bouquet

Here's a beautiful summer Bridal Bouquet.  A Hand-Tied masterpiece that looks as if it was picked straight from the garden.  The fact is that is where all the flowers for this design were found.  The inspiration was the cool purple hues in the Hydrangea.  The Deep pink asters give it great contrast allowing the dark reddish Echinacea Cones to blend into the scheme, adding its unique texture to the bouquet.  The blowing ornamental grasses swayed in the wind adding a nice movement in the garden. I have taken that movement and added it to this Summer Garden Bridal Bouquet, looping the grass along the sides.  The grass drifts to bottom embracing the stems in a simple tie that finish off this hand-tied Bouquet.

Wedding Centerpiece

Here is a very lavish centerpiece using a new rose variety called Free Spirit. The color fades from a dark orange to a blush of pink, and the ruffled edges give an added romantic feel.

Along the rim of the design is a delicate accent of maiden hair fern. And to bring it all together, some Peach Temptation Hypericum berries.

Small cubes containing the same elements have been scattered around the bottom to give this design a little more depth and add some interest. These small added votive size touches are a perfect parting gift for the guest!

July Weddings

Usually July is one of the unpopular months for a Bride to get married...but this year seems to be a bit different. Some times the date effect the tide of marriages. Could 7/11 be an incentive? The last time July was a hit was 7/7/07! All those lucky sevens just came into alignment as many Brides chose this perfect day. The next big thing this year will be 11/11. That's right November. For the last few years October and November have been steadily on the rise for weddings. Beautiful fall foliage mixed with cooler temperatures is making this time of year more appealing for the bolder brides who like to make a statement with color!
